A gilded copper alloy disc. The disc appears to be cut down from a larger object and a Great Square-headed Brooch has been suggested (by Julian Watters). The remaining decoration is far from clear but is reminiscent of Salin Style 1, perhaps late Style 1 (Chris Fern pers. comm.). It is possible that what is left was intended to be used as a weight, but this is only a suggestion.
