A group of Roman pottery sherds: 1 x c500mm diameter late Roman ( AD 250-400) jar sherd with shell-tempered fabric which is buff on the outside and has a dark grey core. 3 x sherds of a similar date and fabric; one being a rim angle sherd possibly from a drop-flanged bowl; the second being a possible base-angle sherd and the third a body sherd. 1 x rim sherd from a carinated jar with black surfaces and a grey core. The sherd measures 120mm diameter.

A worn sherd from a samian bowl, form Dragendorff 37, in the style of Cobnertus iv of Rheinzabern. The figure is Venus (Ricken & Fischer 1963, type M45); only a fragment survives of the ovolo border at the top of the decoration, but the persence of the fine squre beads (type 0264) beneath it suggests that it is type E11.
