A Post Medieval salt-glazed ceramic Frechen stoneware Bartmann "bearded man", or Bellarmine bottle dating to the late 16th century. The jug is in five fragments comprising around 40% of the vessel, which have been reassembled. An applied grotesque Bartmann "bearded man" facemask is present on the neck and two heraldic appliques remain on the body, which are dated 1595. The unidentified heraldic device consists of a crowned quartered shield with an eagle in the lower left and lion rampant in the lower right quarter. A possibly Post Medieval copper-alloy hooked fitting with the hook emerging from a circular body with a central pointed octofoil and pelleted border. The fitting is in the form of a circle pierced by five rivets, one of which retains a broken leaf-form fitting on a lower face. Opposite to the hook is a projection of overlapping leaf forms, possibly incomplete.
