A Post Medieval silver cuff link button, 13.84mm in diameter, formed of a circular disc with a flared rim. The face has an impressed design comprising two hearts surmounted by a single crown, on a stippled ground, inside a raised border with an internal diameter of around 9.0mm. This type of design is interpreted to signify the marriage of Charles II to Catherine of Braganza in 1662. The reverse is concave, with a single broken attachment loop of silver wire, 1.2mm thick with a circular cross section. This object was originally one of a pair.
