Two identical copper alloy tokens of 19th century date. Only one is illustrated. 1. J. GILLETT/ MANUFACTURERS/ BRAILES/ SHIPSTON-ON-STOUR WARWICKSHIRE 2. A piece of machinery for textile manufacturer. "In 1809 William Gillett was producing shag, hair shag, yarn, worsted, jersey, grey coating, and a rough coarse velvet. The plush weaving industry was booming.
