A complete copper alloy contemporary copy of an as of Claudius, dating to the period AD 41-54 (Reece period 2). Minerva reverse type, depicting Minerva advancing right with shield and javelin. Most probably struck in Britain. Possibly Colchester Group B (Kenyon 1987, 34).

This example could not be attributed to a mint.
