The spelling of Aethelred appears to be EDILRED (L inverted) placing it into Pirie's group C although Odilo is not listed for this group,

A copper alloy spiral-headed stick pin, Flixborough Type 4, of Early Medieval date, c. 600-700. The pin has a straight shaft measuring 46mm in length which tapers to a sharp point. The shank is circular in cross-section and un-hipped. The top of the pin expands into two halves each of which curve up and round forming a spiral of one and a half turns. The spirals are flattened on each face and touch in the centre. This example does not have a collar and the tapering of the shank is unusual. The pin has a mid-green patina and is in good condition. A cast copper alloy mount, dating to the early Roman period, in the form of the head, neck, and forequarters of a running boar. The mount is hollow-cast and depicts a boar semi-naturalistically. An incomplete copper alloy cosmetic pestle dating to the period c 100 BC- c AD 200. The attachment loop would have been at one of the incomplete ends. The pestle is a curved, circular-section rod which tapers towards each end. The object has a dark brown patina with patches of corrosion in places.
