A flint core dating to the Prehistoric period, (8300-800BC). The object is sub-rectangular in plan and sub-triangular in cross-section. On the dorsal face three parallel blades have been removed. A large bulb of percussion on the ventral face indicates that the object was struck with a hard hammer. At the proximal end the striking platform measures 18.22mm in width and is 6.33mm thick. A flint core probably dating to the late Mesolithic period, (7000-4001BC) The object is sub-triangular in plan 'crescent-shaped' in cross-section. It has a large striking platform measuring 9.82mm in width and 16.02mm in length. The core is conical with one platform and parallel striking narrow blades. The striking platform has sub-parallel abrupt dressing on each edge. A minimum of six blades have been removed from the dorsal face of the core. The ventral face is smooth and concave. The core is mid-brown in colour.

A Prehistoric stone tool dating from the Mesolithic through to the Bronze Age, (10,000-700BC) although a later date is possible. The object is oval in plan and sub-oval cross-section. Due to uneven thickness it is trapezoidal in profile. One face has been deliberately smoothed to form a straight and even face which terminates with a rounded end. The opposite end is stepped with the tip unsmoothed. The opposite face has been worn down at the rounded end and slopes down sharply to where it terminates.
