A cast copper alloy unidentified object possibly dating to the Early Bronze Age Arreton Down Metalworking Tradition (1650 BC - 1500 BC). The object is 'flame like' in plan. The blade is 50.60mm in length and the very tip is missing. The incomplete tip is pointed and flares evenly outwards and downwards towards a rounded base. On both faces of the blade, a longitudinal mid-rib extends from the tip to the base. The sides of the blade are roughly parallel and both have flattened surfaces measuring 0.75mm thick. Neck and shoulder of small green glass pharmaceutical phial dating to 1600-1700. It has a short neck. The glass is pale green in colour and quite thin, 1.44mm. The rim is 5.27mm wide and most of it has broken away. Only one side of the shoulder remains. Phials were introduced during the seventeenth century and continued into the nineteenth century. They were hand blown and the earliest types are of thin green glass.

A sherd from the base of a glass bottle, dating to the c. AD 17th - 19th Century. The fragment is slightly corroded giving some areas more of a brown colour. Other areas appear like a dark blue which goes somewhat multi-coloured in the light, showing greens and pinks. It weighs 29.5g, and is c. 37mm in length, c. 51mm in width and c. 10mm thick.

An incomplete black probably jet bead of uncertain date. The object is fusiform (barrel shaped) and would have had a circular cross-section when complete. Each end of the bead has been flattened. There is no visible decoration on the outer face of the surviving half. A central hole has been drilled through each end of the bead. Dimensions: 30mm in length, 16mm in width, 9mm thick, 2.50g The object not facetted which suggests it was lathe turned rather than pared which would indicate a later, Victorian or Roman, date.

A cast copper alloy mount, dating to the early Roman period, in the form of the head, neck, and forequarters of a running boar. The mount is hollow-cast and depicts a boar semi-naturalistically. The boar has a large head, oval in cross-section and tapering to a flat oval snout. One nostril is visible in the form of a pellet on the snout, the second is missing due to the loss of patina. Cast copper alloy figurine of uncertain date. The figure has a rounded face, with a small moulded nose and round eyes. Expanding outwards from his chin is a long triangular beard. The shoulders are rounded and the arms appear to be crossed. The legs have broken away just above the knees. An incomplete cast copper alloy Anglo-Scandinavian trefoil brooch. The fragment consists of one of the arms or lobes of a brooch, with the other two missing. The object is decorated decorated in the Borre-Jelling style of the second half of the tenth century. Half way down on the left hand side, (when viewing the object) is a left-facing Jellinge-style create, with a round eye, open jaw and a 'pigtail' or ear lappet, extending downwards across the top of the animal's body. Cast copper alloy finger ring dating to the Post-Medieval period. The object consists of a simple undecorated hoop which is D-shaped in cross section. There is a small join visible where the hoop was soldered together. The object was possibly inscribed on the inside as a faint impression remains. The remains of gilding can also be seen on the inside of the hoop. The object has a dark brown patina and is worn.

A cast copper alloy incomplete lock pin probably dating to the Roman period, (43-410AD). The lock is formed from a large bowl shaped knop with sides which flare outwards. The upper surface of the bowl is sunken with a large conical pellet projecting centrally. From the base of the bowl the iron rectangular sectioned shaft projects slightly but is broken. A cast copper alloy mount or stud which may have contained a heraldic device. The object is shield shaped in plan and flat. Te integral shank would have projected from the rear of the object however has been flattened against the rear face. The object is worn and has a mid-brown patina. It probably dates to the late 13th or 14th century. Griffiths (1989) states that smaller shield studs (20mm or less in height), similar to this example may have been attached to iron stirrups.
