Medieval lead spindle whorl. It is flat and has a central perforated hole. Around the central perforation is decorated with a sun burst pattern. This design is repeated with the projections running to the outer edge. There are raised pellets in each section. The opposite side is also decorated in a similar manner with a sun burst pattern around the central perforation. There are raised circular pellets in each section. Similar examples of spindle whorls have reportedly been found in contexts dated from the Roman through to the Post-Medieval period although the majority are typical…

Post-Medieval copper alloy jetton. It is a Nuremberg 'Ship Penny' jetton which was probably struck by Hanns Krawinckel I, c.1562-1586. The Obverse shows a ship and the reverse shows four fleur-de-lis in a lozenge. The inscription should read SCHIF PFENING NVRENBERG//HANS KRAVWINCKEL GOTES.

Medieval lead spindle whorl. It has a biconical shape and is circular in plan with a large central preforation. Both sides are decorated with radiating lines which are terminated by a raised circular band. More lines radiate out from this to the edge. It is quite worn.
