Cast copper alloy trumpet brooch dating to the Roman period, (43-410AD). The object has a typical trumpet-like oval head. The bow arches out from the head and tapers towards the foot which is missing. A groove decorates the edge of the head. The bow is sub-oval in cross-section. The bow is decorated with a worn petalled waist moulding, below and above which is a plain transverse moulding. The object is a hinged example however the hinge and pin are missing. The object has a dark brown patina and is corroded. It can be dated from 75-175AD.

Cast lead spindle whorl of uncertain date. The object is sub-circular in plan. The object has a large central circular perforation. One side of the object is 12.50mm thick while the opposite side is only 3.17mm thick. The object has a mid-white patina and has been crudely made. Similar examples of spindle whorls have reportedly been found in contexts dated from the Roman through to the Post-Medieval period.

The shaft terminates in a rounded point. The object has a light green patina. Spoon-probes with twisted handles can be found illustrated in Crummy (1983, 61; refs. 1926, 1927). A similar example which can be found on the database is HAMP-C8D0C4.

Cast copper alloy dragonesque brooch dating to the Roman period, (43-410AD). The object consists of an S-shaped plate with moulded relief decoration. In the centre of the object is a circular moulded decoration. At each end of the plate are stylised zoomorphic terminals. These are pointed oval in plan with large circular pellets at their centre representing the creature's eye. The base of the object is flat, and the pin and catchplate have broken away. The head loop is worn and has broken at the top. The bow arches outwards and tapers downwards where it terminates in a break. The foot and pin are missing and a small amount of the catchplate remains. The object is a hinged example and has an olive-green patina. The bow of the object is slightly corroded. The object can be dated from 43-200AD.

Three pieces of copper alloy armour scale from a 'lorica squamata' dating to the Roman period. The scales consist of a flat sheet of copper alloy. The two larger scales are rounded at one end and flat at the other. There are three punched perforations at the flat end of both scales.
