A fragment of cast copper-alloy Post-Medieval spur frame, c. 17th century. The fragment survives as the terminal end of the right side of a probable rowel spur, snapped towards the rowel attachment end. Unlike medieval spurs, the terminal holes are further apart forming an oblique figure of eight. Moulded ridged lines run either side of the hole closest to the frame of the spur. The object has a browninsh green patina and is in fair condition. Dimensions: 45mm in length, 9mm in width, 5mm thick, 8.3g A similar example which can be found on the PAS database is KENT-39CC78

A cast copper alloy forked spacer from a Medieval strap end. The strap end would have been of composite type with a forked spacer. Both the front and back plate of the strap end are missing and each arm is broken at the same place. The object terminates with a moulded collared knop possibly in the form of an acorn. It is similar to a number of examples illustrated in Egan and Pritchard's 'Dress Accessories' (1991), page 144, plate 94. The object is circular in plan and is decorated with crown above two hearts in low relief reserved on a stippled field. The rear of the object is concave and the loop missing. A flint core of Mesolithic to early Neolithic date. The object is conical with one platform at the top of the object and parallel striking down one face. Ripples are visible where one flake has been removed and at least four blades. On the opposite face an area of cortex remains to the side of which the core is a mottled blueish-white and yellow colour due to discolouration from the soil. A lead alloy object of uncertain function. The object is oval in plan and is decorated on one face with a flower-like motif. The decoration is typical of similar decoration on medival and post-medieval tokens. The rear of the object has an irregular bulbous projection. This may have been intended to be a handle however has the appearance of a miss-cast object. Possible functions include a miss-cast token or button. The object has a dark grey patina and is in fair condition.

An incomplete lead alloy medieval pilgrim's ampulla, dating from c. AD 1350-1530. The bowl is semi-circular in plan and the neck is sub-rectangular in cross-section flaring outwards at the top. An incomplete copper alloy S-shaped 'snake belt' fastener, dating to the Post-Medieval period, (c. AD 1575 -c.1800). This fastener is in the form of a curved snake forming two hooks. The fastener is decorated on one face with an animal head terminal at one end and with worn moulded scale-like decoration. The snake has raised and rounded pellets representing the eyes. This is where the connecting and securing buckles would have been located. The incomplete end terminates with an ancient break. The arm is D-shaped in cross-section.
