A cast lead alloy weight dating from the Roman to the Post-Medieval period, (AD 43-1700). The object is circular in plan. The upper face is stamped with the numerals VIII. The lower surface has been recently damaged, possibly due to the plough but is undecorated. The object has a mid-grey patina. Lead weights are common throughout the medieval and post-medieval period. A lead alloy probable weight of medieval to post-medieval date. The object is circular in plan and D-shaped in cross-section. Projecting from the centre of the base of the object is a lump of iron corrosion. The upper face of the object is uneven and pitted the face bears a possible figurative low relief motif depicting either the muzzle of a lion or a caricatured face. However due to wear and damage the decoration cannot be certain. The object has a light brown patina. One face of the object has a raised and flatted rim. The curved surface is scarred with several irregular indentations probably due to recent plough damage and abrasion from within the plough soil. A cast copper-alloy circular trade weight of post-medieval (probable late 17th-century) date. The weight has a low rim on its upper surface measuring 3.08mm in width. Within the surface of the weight is the sword of St Paul (for the City of London). Also punched on the object is a possible ewer (for the Founder's Company, maker of weights) and a rose. A fourth punch mark is undecipherable due to wear. The rear face is flat with a small circular pit at the centre. There is no indication of any file marks. The object has a light green patina.

Cast lead fishing weight probably dating to the Medieval period, (1100-1500). It is lentoid in shape and trapezoidal in section. At the top of the object is an integral oval suspension loop. The object has a light brown patina. The object may have been used to weigh down nets, as a plumb bob or on ships. Several similar weights have been recorded on the PAS database, e.g. LVPL-FA6180 and LVPL-FFE467. A similar example can be found in Egan (1998, 310).

At the narrower end of the object, a hole has been bored through from one side of the stone to the other, creating a perforation with which to attach the weight.
