An incomplete copper alloy object, probably dating to the Early Medieval period. The object is rectangular in plan and cross-section. One long edge is incomplete due to ancient breaks and has a slight rectangular projection in the centre. An incomplete copper alloy brooch of the cruciform type, dating to the early Anglo-Saxon period, from c. AD 500-550. The head of the brooch is mostly missing with only a small fragment and one partial wing remaining. From the centre of the lower edge of the headplate a D-sectioned arched bow extends downwards with ridged moulding at each corner. The lower bow is flat and recessed with zoomorphic projections. Notes: Plain rings of such proportions have often been suggested to be Medieval or Post-Medieval harness rings (Geake 2001, 74), though they are typically un-diagnostic.

An lead alloy object of uncertain function. The object is circular in plan and is D-shaped in cross-section. The flat face is rough and uneven with no visible pitting. Due to its undiagnostic nature it cannot be dated closely however the condition of the lead suggests a Post-Medieval date is likely. The object may have functioned as a palm guard however there are no diagnostic features. Palm guards were for use by a leather worker to protect the palm whilst stitching. Bailey (1995, 64-65) dates such objects to the 17th century onwards.

One half of a copper alloy double looped buckle of post-medieval date. Only one loop of the buckle remains. The buckle frame has a pointed end and rounded knops at each corner of the remaining loop. Rounded knops decorate the frame either end of the strap bar. The buckle frame is decorated with moulded hearts and scroll decoration.
