An incomplete copper alloy unidentified object of Iron Age to Roman date. The object is sub-rectangular in plan and is slightly curved in profile. The centre of the rear of the object is slightly concave along its lenght. Two rows of punched dots run along the lenght of the object at each side. Running alongside the outer edge of the slightly raised central 'pannel' are two vertical pannels decorated with short horizontal ridges. Two copper alloy plate fragments of uncertain function. Each incomplete plate has curved undulating edges, most of which are damaged. From the edge of one plate is an almost complete curved projection which terminates in a point like hook. The outer faces are decorated with three panels each divided by a double groove on each side. The central panels are blank while either side the panels contain curved decorative grooves. The rear of the objects are undecorated and there is no sign of a loop or any other form of attachment. A fragment of a copper alloy object of uncertain date and function. One face is decorated with six curved grooves. The opposite face is undulating and worn. The fragment has a curved outer edge and is broken on all the other sides. The object has a mid-green patina which is blackened in places. It is possibly part of a figurine and the patina suggests it is no later than medieval in date however is too fragmentary to identify further. A fragment of a zoomorphic object of uncertain date and function. The object has a sub-triangular body which is sub-rectangular in cross-section. The body of the object divides at the top terminating with two rounded projections or ears. The ears are concave on the outer face of the object and convex at the rear. Between the ears on the 'head' of the object is a projecting snout which is lozenge shaped in cross-section. The object is undecorated and has a rough mid-green patina. Dimensions: 62mm in length, 23mm in width, 16mm thick, 105.6g. This object is possibly part of a post-medieval to modern soldering iron although it is not as pointed as other recorded examples. A copper alloy zoomorphic object of uncertain function. The object has a circular perforated fitting the hoop of which is sub-rectangular in cross-section. From this extends a long rectangular sectioned 'neck' with a zoomorphic snake-like terminal. The animal head has an open mouth with tongue projecting and ridged brows. The details of the face are worn. From the opposite side of the hoop an incomplete sub-rectangular projection extends. This may have formed a symmetrical terminal with zoomorphic head when complete.
