The object is sub-circular in plan with a wide rearward projecting hook at one end. At the opposite straight edged end of the object are two rounded projections which curve inwards and may have joined. The majority of the surface decoration has been obscured with corrosion however where the corrosion hasn't taken hold gilding is visible on each face. Cast copper alloy object of uncertain function probably dating to the Post-Medieval period, (1500-1700). The object is sub-oval in plan and D-shaped in cross-section. The mouth of the object is heart shaped and is decorated with a circumferential groove just below the rim. Three more circumferential grooves decorate the outer face of the body of the object. On one side of the object is a small D-shaped projection or handle which has been riveted to the object. The base of the object is uneven. It has a greenish brown patina.

Each end is slightly bent and sharp. There are no rivets or forms of attachment visible. The outer face is possibly decorated with punched annulets however pitted corrosion obscures the detail. Traces of gilding are visible on each face. The object has a dark brown patina.

The object is D-shaped in plan and consists of a straight hexagonal sectioned side which narrows into a curved side with an undulating outer edge. File marks are visible on each face of the object. There is no visible wear where a connection/strap may have been attached. The object appears to be complete and has a dark green patina. Possible uses include harness or strap fitting.

An unidentified lead alloy object, of uncertain date. The object is rectangular in plan and flat. It is stamped with the Roman numeral or letter V in the centre through which there is a crack. The rear of the object is undecorated. It has a light brown patina. The object may have functioned as a Post-Medieval cloth seal which were often rectangular; however although the upper edge is incomplete, there is no evidence of attachment. Another possibility is that it was metal working debris used as a practice piece.

A cast lead alloy object of uncertain function dating to the Post-Medieval period. The object is shield shaped in plan. On one face of the object is an impression of an imperial orb surmounted by a cross, within an ornamental tressure that has three arches. The rear of the object is decorated with cross-hatching. The imperial orb is of the type usually found on copper Rose/Orb jettons of Hans Krauwinckel II. These jettons can be dated from AD1586-1635. It has a dark grey patina.
