A cast copper alloy object probably dating to the Roman period of uncertain function. The object is pelta shaped in plan and is incomplete. Each end of the object curves round forming an incomplete oval but terminates with recent breaks. It is unclear whether each 'arm' would have joined or remained separate. A copper-alloy unidentified object of Unknown date and uncertain function. This 'Y'-shaped hollow object has three cylindrical arms. One arm is longer than the other two and each arm swells towards their terminal ends. Each of the arms has a small circular longitudinal perforation, suggesting that it could have been threaded onto a relatively thin string or strings, perhaps to hold them in place and distribute them evenly. A casting seem is visible along on edge of the object. The holes have a diameter of c. 3mm. The object is corroded and has a variable green patina in places. …

A piece of copper-alloy morphologically similar to the shape of a flat axehead, possibly casting waste from a manufacturing process. The object is roughly pear shaped in silhouette, with a rough texture that appears to be partly from corrosion and partly from the natural grain of the metal.
