The object consists of an oval sectioned bar of copper alloy which has been twisted round to form an oval loop at one end which has been flattened. At the opposite end the object curves to one side (transverse to the loop) terminating with an ancient flattened break. The terminal of the object is split at the upper face 13.62mm from the end. The object may have functioned as a Post-Medieval cloth seal which were often rectangular; however although the upper edge is incomplete, there is no evidence of attachment. Another possibility is that it was metal working debris used as a practice piece.

The rear of the object is undecorated. There is a small projection at one side of the rear of the object, possibly a lead rivet however it may just be a casting flaw. The object is possibly part of a hollow cast lead alloy figurine or toy however its exact function is unknown. It probably dates from the Medieval to the Post-Medieval period.

Cast copper alloy fitting probably dating to the Medieval period, (1100-1500). The object is oval in plan and flat. The object has two rectangular perforations between which are two vertical flat decorative ridges. Two horizontal ridges run from the outer edge of the perforations to the edge of the object. Each side of the object is damaged next to the ridges. The rear of the object is undecorated and appars to have been hammered. The object possibly functioned as a lock plate however this is uncertain. It has a dark green patina and is in good condition.

Fragment of a cast copper alloy object of uncertain function and date. The object is rectangular in plan and lentoid in cross-section. Each end terminates in a break. The fragment has a high rib and narrow wings. It is solid. There is no visible decoration. The object has a pitted mid-green patina.

A small medieval piece of sheet metal, rectangular in shape, terminating at one end in a point. The centre of the pointed end has an aperture punched through it. Around the edges there is a border of tooled decoration of roughly zigzag formation. The reverse is undecorated. The object is silver and dates from the fifteenth century. Dimensions: length 16 mm, width 8 mm. Consequently, in terms of age and as the object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.

Cast object of uncertain date and function. The object appears to have a copper alloy core and an iron outer surface. The object is in the form of a trefoil and decorated with three large openwork ovals, between which are three triangular shaped perforations. The centre of the object is triangular with a circular perforation. Six rounded knops decorate the outer face of the frame. The object has a brownish orange patina with patches of copper alloy corrosion.

At the base of the object is a longer, oval shaped projection which terminates in a break. The object is crudely made and has been damaged. It has a brownish-white patina.

Cast copper alloy object of uncertain function and date. The object consists of a flat circular disc from which expands a circular sectioned stem. On the reverse of the object projects a rectangular sectioned loop just above the start of the stem. The opposite side of the disc is plain. The object has a light green patina and is in good condition.
