A cast copper alloy object of Roman date. The object has a curved handle or stem, which is zoomorphic, probably in the form of a dolphin. The stem terminates with a sub-oval snout which projects upwards from the head. An incomplete cast copper alloy unidentified object probably dating to the 16th century. The object consists of a rectangular band from which projects three sub-rectangular sectioned 'arms' which expand into three conjoined ovals. The voids between each 'arm' forms openwork decoration. The oval projections are decorated with moulded cross-hatching. The outer face of the object is gilded while the internal face is undecorated. It is curved in profile. The exact function of this object is unknown however the style and gilding suggest a 16th century date.

The rectangular end of the object which measures 31.48mm in width contains four incomplete rivets in-situ. The object has been cast in one piece and consists of a sub-circular attachment loop and an oval sectioned shaft.
