The hook is circular in cross-section. At the top of the object the hook expands and flattens to form an integral loop. The loop has an internal diameter of 14mm. Extending down from the centre of the object is a circular-sectioned shaft, measuring 3mm thick, which appears to be hollow and is soil filled. The birds are each identical with open mouths and rounded beaks and circular annulet eyes. At the top of each head is an undulating raised ridge. One arm is longer than the other two and each arm swells towards their terminal ends.
