An incomplete copper alloy object of uncertain function, probably dating from the medieval to the post-medieval period. The object is sub-circular in plan with a wide rearward projecting hook at one end. At the opposite straight edged end of the object are two rounded projections which curve inwards and may have joined. The majority of the surface decoration has been obscured with corrosion however where the corrosion hasn't taken hold gilding is visible on each face. A copper alloy unidentified object probably dating from the medieval to the post medieval date. The object is bifrucated at one end with a triangular shaped void between each projection. The opposite end of the object is incomplete and forms a U-shape due to the incomplete terminal. Below the incomplete terminal are two horizontal ridges decorated on the outer face with ropework. A copper alloy incomplete object of uncertain function. The object is lentoid in plan and curved in profile. The object is narrowed in the centre which is decorated by a transverse band measuring 3mm in width. Each end of the object is decorated with a grooved saltire cross (or X). The lower face of the object is undecorated. It has a light green patina an is in fair condition. The patina and decoration suggests a medieval to post-medieval date, c. AD 1400-1700. A copper alloy object of uncertain function probably dating from the medieval to post-medieval period. The object is conical in plan with a thickened central body which tapers at each end in width towards a break. The central body of the object is decorated with three circumferential ridges. Each end narrows in width measuring 8mm in diameter where it terminates. The object has a mid-dark green patina. A complete cast copper alloy fitting of unknown use of probable late Medieval to Modern date. The object has been cast in one piece and consists of a sub-circular attachment loop and an oval sectioned shaft. Where the loop meets the shaft is a sub-triangular collar projecting from the base of the sub-circular loop. 7.60mm below this is another smaller sub-triangular collar. The upper collar is decorated on each face with two transverse grooves while the lower collar is decorated on each face with a single transverse groove. A small medieval piece of sheet metal, rectangular in shape, terminating at one end in a point. The centre of the pointed end has an aperture punched through it. Around the edges there is a border of tooled decoration of roughly zigzag formation. The reverse is undecorated. The object is silver and dates from the fifteenth century. Dimensions: length 16 mm, width 8 mm. Consequently, in terms of age and as the object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.
