A copper alloy fragment of uncertain function of probable late medieval to post-medieval date. The fragment consists of an incomplete scallop shaped terminal and rectangular arm. The scallop terminal has six decorative grooves. The top of the central segment of the scallop is incomplete. At the base of the scallop is a transverse double groove. The object then narrows forming a rectangular arm which is a thin pointed oval in cross-section. The rear of the object is undecorated and there are no traces of solder or evidence of attachment.
