A cast copper alloy object of uncertain date and function. The object is square in plan and rectangular in cross-section. Each edge appears to have been cut but is damaged and not straight. Each face of the object is corroded and pitted with a brownish green patina. There is no visible decoration. The object may be a piece of metal working debris and is undiagnostic in terms of exact date and function.

A large cast copper alloy unidentified object of uncertain date. The object is D-shaped in plan and consists of a straight hexagonal sectioned side which narrows into a curved side with an undulating outer edge. File marks are visible on each face of the object. There is no visible wear where a connection/strap may have been attached. The object appears to be complete and has a dark green patina. Possible uses include harness or strap fitting.

A cast copper alloy object of uncertain date and function. The object is sub-rectangular in plan and cross-section. Each end of the object curves downwards with a rounded outer edge while the inner edge turns at a 45 degree angle. In the centre of the object a deep vertical groove decorates each face.

A cast copper alloy of uncertain date and function. The object is in the form of a fish and flat however it is unclear if the object is complete or if each end terminates with an ancient break. Each end is slightly bent and sharp. There are no rivets or forms of attachment visible. The outer face is possibly decorated with punched annulets however pitted corrosion obscures the detail. Traces of gilding are visible on each face. The object has a dark brown patina.

An incomplete lead alloy object probably dating to the Post-Medieval period. The object is sub-rectangular in plan and rectangular in cross-section. One face of the object is stamped with a shield shaped stamp bearing a lion rampant left above which are the initials W I. A sub-rectangular perforation has been punched through the object at one corner of the shield. The rear of the object is stamped with five hearts irregularly spaced. An fragment of an unidentified object possibly dating from the Roman through to the Medieval period. The fragment consists of lead which has been chip-carved and gilded on the upper face. The decoration consists of a large C-shaped swirl within which is a smaller crescent shaped swirl. This pattern is repeated with the upper decoration mirroring the lower so that the crescent shape turns the opposite way. Each edge of the object is broken. A small medieval piece of sheet metal, rectangular in shape, terminating at one end in a point. The centre of the pointed end has an aperture punched through it. Around the edges there is a border of tooled decoration of roughly zigzag formation. The reverse is undecorated.
The object is silver and dates from the fifteenth century.
Dimensions: length 16 mm, width 8 mm.
Consequently, in terms of age and as the object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.

An incomplete cast copper alloy object dating from the 12th-13th century. The object is sub-oval in plan with a sub-rectangular tab projecting from one side. The tabbed projection is pierced with a regular circular perforation. One side of the object is engraved with a face. The oval face has an open down-turned mouth, a long narrow nose and oval eyes. Below and to the right of the perforation is a small trefoil. The remains of gilding can be seen on the face and trefoil.
On the rear of the object are two engraved curved lines which appear to be deliberate decoration.

A cast lead alloy object of uncertain function dating to the Post-Medieval period. The object is shield shaped in plan. On one face of the object is an impression of an imperial orb surmounted by a cross, within an ornamental tressure that has three arches. The rear of the object is decorated with cross-hatching.
The imperial orb is of the type usually found on copper Rose/Orb jettons of Hans Krauwinckel II. These jettons can be dated from AD1586-1635. It has a dark grey patina.

Cast lead alloy object of uncertain date and function. The object is irregular in plan and curved in profile. On the outer face is a dense pattern of moulded pointed ovals where the patina remains. The rear of the object is undecorated. There is a small projection at one side of the rear of the object, possibly a lead rivet however it may just be a casting flaw. The object is possibly part of a hollow cast lead alloy figurine or toy however its exact function is unknown. It probably dates from the Medieval to the Post-Medieval period.

Cast copper alloy object of uncertain function probably dating to the Post-Medieval period, (1500-1700). The object is sub-oval in plan and D-shaped in cross-section. The mouth of the object is heart shaped and is decorated with a circumferential groove just below the rim. Three more circumferential grooves decorate the outer face of the body of the object. On one side of the object is a small D-shaped projection or handle which has been riveted to the object. The base of the object is uneven. It has a greenish brown patina.
