An incomplete copper alloy fragment of uncertain function. The object is D-shaped in cross-section and sub-rectangular in plan with a rounded terminal. The rounded terminal curves backwards slightly however it is unclear whether this is intentional or due to damage. Above the terminal is a transverse ridge, above this the centre of the object is decorated with four punched circles. Either side of the punched circles are diagonal grooves.
Each end of the object appears to terminate with an ancient break. The rear of the object is undecorated and there are no rivet holes or signs of …

A copper-alloy unidentified object of Unknown date and uncertain function.
This 'Y'-shaped hollow object has three cylindrical arms. One arm is longer than the other two and each arm swells towards their terminal ends. Each of the arms has a small circular longitudinal perforation, suggesting that it could have been threaded onto a relatively thin string or strings, perhaps to hold them in place and distribute them evenly. A casting seem is visible along on edge of the object. The holes have a diameter of c. 3mm.
The object is corroded and has a variable green patina in places.

A fragment of a copper alloy object of uncertain date and function. One face is decorated with six curved grooves. The opposite face is undulating and worn. The fragment has a curved outer edge and is broken on all the other sides. The object has a mid-green patina which is blackened in places.
It is possibly part of a figurine and the patina suggests it is no later than medieval in date however is too fragmentary to identify further.

An incomplete lead alloy object of uncertain function. The object is semi-circular in plan and is flat. On one face two circumferential ridges border the object. The opposite face is rough and pitted with two conjoined large circular depressions which measure 14mm in diameter.
Due to its undiagnostic nature it cannot be dated closely however the condition of the lead suggests a Medieval to Post-Medieval date is likely.
The object may have functioned as a palm guard however these tend to be D-shaped in cross-section allowing them to sit comfortably in the hand. Palm guards were f…

A copper alloy zoomorphic object of uncertain function. The object has a circular perforated fitting the hoop of which is sub-rectangular in cross-section. From this extends a long rectangular sectioned 'neck' with a zoomorphic snake-like terminal. The animal head has an open mouth with tongue projecting and ridged brows. The details of the face are worn. From the opposite side of the hoop an incomplete sub-rectangular projection extends. This may have formed a symmetrical terminal with zoomorphic head when complete. The object has a mid-green patina and is in fair condition.
