An fragment of an unidentified object possibly dating from the Roman through to the Medieval period. The fragment consists of lead which has been chip-carved and gilded on the upper face. The decoration consists of a large C-shaped swirl within which is a smaller crescent shaped swirl. This pattern is repeated with the upper decoration mirroring the lower so that the crescent shape turns the opposite way. Each edge of the object is broken.
