A copper alloy object of uncertain function and date. The object consists of a copper alloy loop below which is a worn ancient break. The loop has an internal diameter of 5.5mm. Where the body of the object has broken away the break is 'cross-shaped' with two short rounded projections or 'arms' to either side. The object has a light green patina and is pitted in places.
The function and date of this object are currently unknown however the patina and construction of the object suggests that it may be of Roman date.
