A copper alloy object of uncertain date and function. The object is U-shaped in plan with zoomorphic duck or bird terminals. Extending down from the centre of the object is a circular-sectioned shaft, measuring 3mm thick, which appears to be hollow and is soil filled. The birds are each identical with open mouths and rounded beaks and circular annulet eyes. At the top of each head is an undulating raised ridge. The terminal is sub-triangular in cross-section with one flat face. At the opposite end of the object is a bifurcated terminal which is incomplete. The purpose of each terminal is unclear. Projecting from the centre of the object is a sub-rectangular tab, one end of which tapers in width and curls inwards on itself.
