The object has a dark brown patina. It is not magnetic. Due to the undiagnostic nature of this object an exact date cannot be provided.

An incomplete lead alloy object of uncertain function. The object is semi-circular in plan and is flat. Each face is undecorated, rough and pitted. Due to its undiagnostic nature it can not be dated closely however the condition of the lead suggests a Medieval to Post-Medieval date is likely.
The object may have functioned as a plam guard however these tend to be D-shaped in cross-section allowing them to sit comfortably in the hand. Palm guards were for use by a leather worker to protect the palm whilst stitching. Bailey (1995, 64-65) dates such objects to the 17th century onwards…

A cast lead alloy unidentified object of uncertain date. The object is circular in plan and conical. There is no decoration on any face of the object. The edges are smooth and rounded. The object may have functioned as a gaming piece or weight, however due to its un-diagnostic nature this cannot be certain. Alternatively it may have been formed as casting waste. The light cream patina is suggestive of an early date however objects such as this were in use from the Roman through to the Post-Medieval period.

A copper alloy object of uncertain date and function. The object is square in plan with a flat rear and a slightly convex outer face. In the centre of the object is a large square perforation measuring 22mm in length and width. Each face of the object is worn with a patchy mid-green patina. There is no visible decoration.

A copper alloy object of uncertain date and function. The object consists of a long arm which is oval in cross-section. At one end the arm tapers in width to form an integral pointed oval terminal. The terminal is sub-triangular in cross-section with one flat face. At the opposite end of the object is a bifurcated terminal which is incomplete. The purpose of each terminal is unclear.
Projecting from the centre of the object is a sub-rectangular tab, one end of which tapers in width and curls inwards on itself. One end of this may be incomplete however it is difficult to be certain.…
