An incomplete possible spatula dating to the Roman period. The object consists of an undecorated leaf shaped strip of copper alloy where one end has a regangular terminal while the opposite end terminates with a point. The object is has a double edge, is lentoid in cross-section thickening slightly in the centre. There are no rivets or visible points of attachment. The object has a dark green patina. A complete cast copper alloy ear scoop dating to the Roman period. The ear scoop is flat, save for the circular spoon bowl. The spool bowl measures 3mm in width. The object has a circular suspension loop with an internal diameter of 3mm. The stem is of similar width before expanding slightly to form both the suspension loop and the bowl. The stem is bent backwards c.18mm from the top of the suspension loop. This appears to have occurred during antiquity. An incomplete cast copper alloy probable toilet implement dating to the Roman period. The wire handle is twisted, going through four full turns before it terminates with a break. The terminal is sub-triangular in plan and is shallowly concave. The object has a light green patina. Twisted handles are to be found on Roman cosmetic implements, although distinguishing them from medical implements is difficult. Spoon-probes with twisted handles can be found illustrated in Crummy (1983, 61; refs. 1926, 1927).

A cast copper alloy probable cosmetic implement dating to the Roman period. The object is flat and curved along one edge while the opposite edge is straight. At the top of the object is a circular suspension loop. The internal diameter of the perforation measures 4.5mm. The loop would have enabled the object to be suspended from a belt and possibly worn with other cosmetic implements. The opposite end terminates with a rounded point which is incomplete. Each face is undecorated and has a worn dark brown patina. The exact function of the object is uncertain.

The bottom of the object terminates in a break. The object is decorated with a series of transverse ridges. The reverse is undecorated. The object has a dark green patina and is in good condition.

Cast copper alloy toilet implement dating to the Roman period. The object terminates at one end with a modern break. The broken end has been bent upwards. At the other end the expansion is into a shallow oval bowl with a rounded end. The object has been twisted at the neck between the bowl and the stem. Twisted handles are to be found on Roman cosmetic implements, although distinguishing them from medical implements is difficult. This object has traces of a white-metal coating. Similar examples can be found on p61, Crummy, (1983).

Cast copper alloy object, probably part of a toilet set possibly dating to the Roman period, (43-410AD). The object has a rounded and flattened oval head and a twisted shaft. The shaft terminates in a rounded point. The object has a light green patina. Spoon-probes with twisted handles can be found illustrated in Crummy (1983, 61; refs. 1926, 1927). A similar example which can be found on the database is HAMP-C8D0C4.
