Incomplete ceramic building material probably a tile of Roman date. The object is sub-rectangular in plan and rectangular in cross-section. The upper and lower faces of the object undulate slightly. The upper face is orange in colour with narrow striations running parallel across the length. Imprinted on this face are two paw prints from a small animal, possibly a cat or small dog. A ceramic probable tile possibly dating from the Roman period. The object is rectangular in plan and cross-section. It is of uneven thickness. The object has been crudely made but is well fired. One face is undulating and irregular and was possibly pushed up against another surface while the opposite face was smoothed. A square incomplete depression on one edge of the irregular face is possibly due to a stick or nail and indicates that it was a wet tile. The object has a light orange sandy fabric with one large inclusiton of a fragment of flint. One face is flat and smooth while the opposite face is rough and uneven. The sherd is formed of a sandy, pinkey-orange fabric with no large inclusions, possibly Cheshire Plains ware. The object measures 13.31mm in thicnkness and is broken on each edge.

An incomplete ceramic floor tile probably dating to the Medieval period. The object is irregular in plan with each edge being broken. The tile is rectangular in cross-section and flat. The upper face has a reddish brown patina and small patches of a mid-green glaze. The lower face and internal fabric of the tile are a very course mid-brown with large and frequent inclusions. The object has a hard surface.

An incomplete tegula (roof tile) dating to the Roman period. The object is slightly curved with a raised rim along one edge. The rim is sub-rectangular in cross-section. The outer fabric is bright orange while the internal fabric is mid-grey in colour. The upper face is decorated with deep grooves and ridges which inter-cut each other. The lower face is undecorated.

Small fragment of possible roof tile dating to the early Medieval period. It is irregular in plan and in section. There are two regular holes at either side of the fragment. The larger hole is likely to be a break from a large inclusion, while the smaller more regular hole has been fired and was probably deliberate. It was possibly used to attach the tile. It has a rough orange patina and one visible inclusion.
