Copper alloy object, possibly a rove. It is square in plan with a hollow raised central dome. The hollow has been filled with lead alloy or lead, possibly to act as a sealant. This may conceal the the stub of a rivet shaft. Examples of roves on the database include NLM-A0D0D7, KENT-36B1E6, and IOW-A24507. Difficult to date but probably within the period from c1350 to c1900 AD.
The length is 15mm, width 15mm, thickness 4mm, and the weight 3.9g.
