A cast copper alloy incomplete razor handle dating to the Roman period. The terminal is zoomorphic in form, probably depicting a griffin, and at its base has an incomplete split attachment end where the now missing iron blade would originally have been inserted. At the top of the terminal is an elongated and curving neck with a triangular beak that points downwards and small semi-circular projection at the crest of the head.
