Cast copper alloy lock plate dating to the Post-Medieval period. The object is heart shaped and rectangular in cross-section. The upper part of the object is surrounded with iron corrosion. The lock plate is decorated with two flowers above the perforation for the key. The outer edge of the objet is decorated by a series of grooves. The lock plate has been silvered or tinned. It is likely to date between 1650 and 1800.
