A modern imitation of an Anglo-Saxon sceat of Series E ('Porcupine' type). The imitation is a match for the 'Ashmore' replica produced by Trevor Ashmore in the 196-s-70s. It is listed in Abramson's 'Sceattas: an illustrated guide', p. 154 no. 8.
On the reverse is a beaded square enclosing bars, with possible symbols around the outer edge of the coin.
