Silver cut halfpenny Aethelred II 'the Unready', (978-1016), Helmet type (North 775; c.AD1003-9), mint: London. Obv: [ ]ELRAED REX (AE ligated); radiate crowned bust left Rev: MO L/VND; voided long cross, each limb terminates in a pyramid of three crescents. The cross is placed over a square with trefoils at its points.
