A Post Medieval hammered silver coin of Elizabeth I. A sixpence of the sixth coinage with a bell initial mark (North 2015). Dates to 1582 AD. The diameter is 25mm, and the weight is 2.6g. Obverse inscription is ELIZAB.D.G ANG FR.ET HIB.REGI and the reverse inscription is POSVI/DEVM.AD/IVTOREM/MEV M. The coin has been clipped.
