A silver cut half penny of Eustace Fitzjohn struck in the regin of Stephen between AD 1145-1154. Minted in York, Mack Type 221, North no. 929. Obverse: [EVSTACIVS]; armed figure to right. Reverse: EBORACI[]; cross in quatrefoil. Martin Allen of the FitzWilliam Museum notes that only two other coins of this type have been recorded since the 1990s, both cut halves. Dimensions: 19mm in diameter, 0.75g.
