A post medieval copper alloy (bronze) coin of Morocco known as a falus dates to between 1672 and 1901, probably 18th to 19th Century. The obverse has the Star of David with a pellet in the centre.The rear of the object is flat and undecorated. The rear of the object bears moulded initials, possibly SE. Dimensions: 17mm in diameter, 1.5mm thick, 2.8g A falus is a cast copper alloy coin, that was issued as the normal form of the low value coinage of Morocco for a large part of the 19th century. A copper alloy contemporary copy of a Spanish 8 Reales ("dollar") of Charles IIII of Spain. Obverse: laureate bust right; CAROLUS IIII DEI GRATIA []. Reverse: Spanish arms between two pillars, crown above; HISPAN ET IND REX M 8R F T. This contemporary copy was probably originally silvered in order to deceive.

A plated copy of an 8 escudos coin of Philip III of Spain. Reverse: HISPANIARVM REX 1637; cross inside quadrilobe. The copper alloy plating has been damaged in places revealing a blueish core, probably lead alloy. A seem is visible around the outer edge of the coin and patches of gilding remain on each face. It is unclear whether the coin was intended to deceive during the Post-Medieval period or in more recent times.

A post-medieval gilded lead-alloy contemporary copy of a Spanish 4 reales of Philip II (1556-1598) or Philip III (1598-1621). The addition of the Hapsburg heraldry to the Spanish shield dates the 'coin' to after 1570. It is unclear whether this coin copies a Spanish-minted variety or one minted in the New World, although it may be copying the slightly squashed shape of the 'cob' coins minted in South America. A post-medieval cast lead-alloy imitation of a 8 Reales of Charles III of Spain (1759-88). A casting line is visible around the edge of the coin and the surface is dark grey and pitted. The specific coin copied appears to be an 8 Reales from the Mexico City mint under the assayers Francisco Antonio de la Pena y Flores and Manuel de la Rivera (mint mark M with o above; assayers marks F M). Dated AD 1772.
