A Scottish penny of David II (1329-1371), of the second issue small letters variety with four mullets of six points, the mint is unknown but most likely Edinburgh as Berwick was under English control at the time. The coin can be dated to c. AD 1351-57.

A medieval gold Venetian ducat of Doge Francesco Foscari (1423-57), mint: Venice (Zecca). CNI 60-74 (probably 68). Ref: CNI vol.VII (Venice/Venezia), p. 131-3.
The coin is struck on an irregular flan (it is not clipped), fairly typical of this coinage. The imperfect punches used in the production of the coin are also consistent with other examples.

The diameter is 19.2mm, and the weight is 1.3g.
Obverse inscription appears to be B[ ] and the reverse inscription is appears to be [ ]AO[ ].
The coin, though now straightened, has been folded, probably as some form of token and possibly a love token of the eighteenth century.
