A copper alloy trumpet brooch of Hull Type 157C dating to the Roman period. The brooch is nearly identical to an example in Hattatt (1989, p. 327, Fig. 186, no. 1528). The head end of the bow expands outward in a typical 'trumpet-like' form with a broadly D-shaped cross-section. The object tapers in thickness from the head curving down towards the leg of the brooch. The foot is missing. At the rear of the head is the top of a pierced lug through which the spring would have passed holding it in place. The spring, pin and catchplate are missing. An incomplete cast copper alloy Anglo-Scandinavian trefoil brooch. The fragment consists of one of the arms or lobes of a brooch, with the other two missing. The object is decorated decorated in the Borre-Jelling style of the second half of the tenth century. Cast copper alloy Roman proto crossbow brooch. It has a plain crossbar. The coils of the spring survive inside the head however the pin is missing. The bow arches outwards creating a P-shaped profile. A pannel decorated with dots and circles runs the length of the bow. At the base of the bow is a cross moulding. The foot also has a pannel of decoration running down it, however the detail of the decoration is unclear. The catchplate is complete.

Cast copper alloy brooch fragment dating to the Roman period. The fragment is cruciform shaped in plan, flat and rectangular in cross-section. On the front of the fragment is an oval recessed panel. The remains of orange and blue enamel fill the panel. The orange appears to be the base colour while the blue, which is circular, forms the more detailed decoration. On the reverse of the fragment are the remains of a broken and worn down catchplate. The fragment is probably from a plate-brooch.

A copper alloy Roman bow brooch: possible dolphin variant c.50-150 AD. The brooch is incomplete, with the pin missing and the bow being broken. The wings are an unusual angular shape. The bow has broken before the foot but it is tapering towards it. The brooch seems to have a white metal coating remaining on some of the surface, this is either tinning or silvering but most of it has worn off. The surface is now uneven due to wear and corrosion.
