An incomplete copper alloy brooch of the cruciform type, dating to the early Anglo-Saxon period, from c. AD 500-550. The head of the brooch is mostly missing with only a small fragment and one partial wing remaining. From the centre of the lower edge of the headplate a D-sectioned arched bow extends downwards with ridged moulding at each corner. The lower bow is flat and recessed with zoomorphic projections. An incomplete lead alloy late Anglo-Saxon disc brooch of Weetch's type 13.A, with raised flat-topped centre. The surviving fragment has a central circular raised boss which is decorated, surrounded by a flattened decorated outer rim. The central boss measures 18mm in diameter and is 3.5mm thick. An almost complete copper alloy brooch of Early Medieval date, late 8th-9th century. The brooch is circular in plan and flat with zoomorphic and openwork decoration. A copper alloy penannular brooch of c.9-10th century date. The brooch is sub-circular with a plain frame, oval in cross-section, which expands forming two flattened triangular terminals. Between the flattened terminals and the rest of the frame are stylised horses' heads, the noses at the frame end; the noses have upturned tips and there are two bulbous eyes on each head. The pin is complete and undecorated apart from the loop of the pin which is ribbed with expanded openings. Dimensions: 70.7 mm in diameter, length of pin 120.9 mm.

A cast copper alloy Ansate brooch dating to the Early Medieval period. The head, bow and foot are D-shaped in cross-section. It has an arched middle section and flat rectangular terminals. It is decorated with a series of transverse ridges, one in its centre, one at the point where the arch ends and one at each terminal. At the rear of the object is a double pin lug which is incomplete and would have held the hinge and pin which are missing. The catchplate is almost complete. The object has a mid-brown patina and can be dated to c. AD 650 - AD 850.
