The cufflink element is circular in plan with a hollow underside and a near-vertical outer face with downward turned rim. Description: Two Post-Medieval sheet silver cuff link elements. Element 1 is circular in plan with a down-turned edge at an angle of about 45°. The rear face is concave and has the remains of a central soldered attachment loop which is incomplete. Post-Medieval silver cuff link. The object is circular in plan. On the front is a stamped design of a crown about two hearts. It has flanged edges with a scalloped border. On the reverse is an attachment loop, that has been soldered on. Cufflinks such as these are commonly reported through the Treasure Act 1996. A similar example can be found from under the East Sussex (2011 T812, PAS no. SUSS-E88264). Consequently, in terms of age and as the object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations of the Treasure Act 1996.

Cast pair of silver cufflinks dating to the Post Medieval period. They are hexiognal in plan and are decorated with a flower. They are connected to each other by a silver oval loop. The back is with shanks and original link pin apparently soldered on.
