A silver-gilt dress-hook with a six-lobed pinked back plate. In each corner of the lobes is a knop. On top of the back plate is a sub hexagonal cushion and shaped with this are four domes, one positioned on each alternate lobe and one placed in the centre, two now damaged. Around the base of each dome is a filigree wire border. In each space left above the other alternate lobes are two knops radiating from the central dome. Treasure Case 2022 T851 Description:  A complete silver gilded eye piece from a hook and eye fastener dating to the post medieval period (c.AD 1500-1700). The body of the piece is broadly heart shaped, with sewing loops either side of the point of the loop and a larger loop at the top of the heart. The large hoop is where the hook from the other part of the fastener would have previously been attached. The outer edges which form the shape of the heart consist of foliate branches.  The central design of the piece is reminiscent of an urn with a flat top and rounded body.…

An incomplete early medieval hooked tag with nielloed ornament. The hooked tag has a circular plate with the remains of a projecting attachment hole at one end, and a complete hook at the other. The plate has a beaded incised border and a central incised motif filled with niello. The finder details are difficult to make out due to its present condition, but the snout and eye of at least one Trewhiddle style beast is discernible. The back of the hooked tag is plain.

The object is circular in plan and is decorated with crown above two hearts in low relief reserved on a stippled field. The rear of the object is concave and the loop missing. An incomplete silver-gilt dress-hook . The object is lozenge shaped in plan. It consists of a cast back-plate with a large trefoil knop on each apex and a smaller version in the centre of each side. The trefoil knop from the centre of one side is missing due to a recent break. Either side of each central trefoil knop is a single rounded knop; some of these have a faceted outer face while some have been worn down.
