A silver Roman miliarensis of Theodosius I (AD 379-395), dating to the period AD 379-383 (Reece period 20). VOTIS V MVLTIS X reverse type with the legend within a wreath. Mint of Trier. This is an unlisted miliarensis type for Theodosius I, probably a variant of RIC IX, p. 24, no. 52 with reverse type RIC IX, p. 25, cf. no. 59b. Another example has been recorded through the PAS in a hoard group from Dorset (2015 T194, DOR-1B3ECD); see also an example published on Wildwinds.com (accessed 02/02/2017)(http://www.wildwinds.com/coins/ric/theodosius_I/_trier_RIC_059b_var.txt ).
