Treasure case: 2016 T21. Late medieval or early post-medieval silver finger- ring. The ring is formed of a strip of silver. The ends, originally soldered together, have now separated. The surface of the ring is engraved with hatched areas forming a V-shaped pattern. These are separated by plain borders and the edges of the ring are decorated with beading. The finger-ring dates to the 15th to 16th century. Dimensions: maximum diameter 26 mm, width 6 mm. In terms of age and as the object contains a minimum of 10% precious metal it qualifies as Treasure under the stipulations…
