A complete and slightly misshapen silver-gilt finger-ring. Treasure case no 2016 T545. A silver ornamental ring, broad flat band with a beaded borders within circumferential ridges. The ring is inscribed with 'star GODDRED'. The band has been cut between each D in the centre of the name with a D either side of the cut. Inside the band is a maker's mark reading 'RR' (ЯR) back to back and conjoined. Treasure case: 2016 T21. Late medieval or early post-medieval silver finger- ring. The ring is formed of a strip of silver. The ends, originally soldered together, have now separated. The surface of the ring is engraved with hatched areas forming a V-shaped pattern. These are separated by plain borders and the edges of the ring are decorated with beading. An incomplete finger ring of Medieval to Post-Medieval date. Treasure case 2015 T162. Description: Two fragments from a silver finger ring probably dating to the 12th century. In its current state the ring is incomplete. The larger fragment is made up of portions of the hoop and the bezel. The bezel is integral and is slightly convex. A Silver finger ring of Medieval date, 2014 T616. The finger ring has a circular band, 2.98mm wide which widens to the shoulders to a width of 6.47mm. There is a circular collet with a beveled edge at the bezel with no longer contains a setting. The hoop has been bent out of shape with the shoulder on one side breaking away from the centre of the base of the collet. Silver finger-ring, probably medieval, now slightly distorted and with some damage. The ring is of D-shaped section and is engraved with a zigzag decoration around the outside surface. This is possibly intended to represent a series of letter Ms, perhaps standing for Maria. The ring probably dates to the 13th to 15th century. Dimensions: maximum diameter 21 mm, width 3 mm.

A late medieval silver-gilt finger-ring of D-shaped section. The ring is broken at the point at which the hoop was soldered and joined, and distorted, but otherwise complete. It is decorated with a series of diagonal lines forming triangular spaces, which are filled in with rows of small circular stamped decoration. The gilding survives mainly within the impressed diagonal lines and on the inside of the hoop. The ring dates from the 15th century.

Description: tiny silver ring, the bezel divided into three with vertical lines, each division decorated with a lozenge and dot. The ring is slightly conical in shape, being wider on one side than the other suggesting that it may be some kind of fitting. If it is a ring it is for a child. Discussion: This ring gas been examined by British Museum curators (Early Medieval, Medieval and Post-Medieval specialists) who have been unable to confirm a date or function for this ring.
