An incomplete silver-gilt dress-hook . The object is lozenge shaped in plan. It consists of a cast back-plate with a large trefoil knop on each apex and a smaller version in the centre of each side. The trefoil knop from the centre of one side is missing due to a recent break. Either side of each central trefoil knop is a single rounded knop; some of these have a faceted outer face while some have been worn down. Treasure number 2014 T746. A cast openwork silver-gilt dress accessory. The body is rectangular with thin borders along the short sides and a concave thicker border along the one long side. The body is decorated with intertwining foliate design. Emerging from the centre is a larger foliate design that is sub rectangular, which takes a similar form to an oak tree profile or a large leaf. A silver Read Class B, Type 2 dress hook dating to the early Post-Medieval period. The object is cast in two pieces with a silver circular sheet and a separate hooked-section. The circular sheet is surrounded by twisted wire filigree. The object is decorated with a central cross, in the centre of which is the base of a circular rivet which attaches the hook. Within each angle of the cross is an oval silver wire cell, each of which are in filled with a white enamel or stone. A silver-gilt dress-hook with a six-lobed pinked back plate. In each corner of the lobes is a knop. On top of the back plate is a sub hexagonal cushion and shaped with this are four domes, one positioned on each alternate lobe and one placed in the centre, two now damaged. Around the base of each dome is a filigree wire border. In each space left above the other alternate lobes are two knops radiating from the central dome. A cast silver gilt dress hook dating to the early Post-Medieval period. The object consists of a silver lozenge shaped reverse plate with a hollow domed sheeting obverse plate. The obverse plate is decorated with five twisted wire circles enclosing a three leafed twisted wire flower with a raised central pellet. Two-three more raised pellets are placed randomly inside the wire circle. Each of the five flowers within circles are domed.
