Description: The object is a strip of silver with a pattern of what appear to be stamped lines on one side, cut at both ends and bent. There are no visible test marks, and no trace of solder or other fastening.

Discussion: The object has some similarities with so-called broad-band arm-rings of the late 9th and 10th centuries, produced in Viking contexts around the Irish Sea.
