A silver Roman denarius of Hadrian (AD 117-138), probably a plated copy, dating to the period AD 134-138 (Reece period 6). SALVS AVG reverse type depicting Salvs standing left feeding snake coiled around altar and holding vertical sceptre. Mint of Rome. Cf. RIC II, p. 371, no. 269.
R. Abdy (British Museum) has examined this denarius and suggests that it is probably a contemporary plated copy.

A silver Roman miliarensis of Theodosius I (AD 379-395), dating to the period AD 379-383 (Reece period 20). VOTIS V MVLTIS X reverse type with the legend within a wreath. Mint of Trier. This is an unlisted miliarensis type for Theodosius I, probably a variant of RIC IX, p. 24, no. 52 with reverse type RIC IX, p. 25, cf. no. 59b. A silver oak tree Massachusetts three pence, issued by colony of Massachusetts, North America, dating to the Post-Medieval period. Reverse: NEW ENGLAND; 1652 III.
Though dated '1652', such coins tend to be attributed to the period c. 1667 - c. 1674 AD.
