An inscribed ring, silver gilt (?). Plain on one side, the other inscribed in relief ONCE MYNE AND EVER THYN with three crosses. The plain surface is very slightly curved, suggesting that the surface with the inscription is inside. The ring has been straightened and appears to have been repaired (repair located between TH and YN of the inscription 'THYN'). This ring does not correspond to any of the posy rings in the British Museum collections, which have exteriors that are either plain or decorated with inscriptions on the inside.
